@ImMasterKush We don't train in the martial arts to be in street fights. We train to defend ourselves against attackers in the real world and military combat. Like muggers and such. I have never had a mugger try to use boxing, wrestling, or MMA on me. We need to wake up. The attacker on the street has no idea what you know or don't know. If they did, they would look for an easier target. If they weren't lazy, criminals would go get a real job and work for a living at an honorable job.

We do not learn martial arts in the military for a friendly bout or to prove how tough we are, it is to kill the enemy, period. So I would say that if you have questions about this guys school. GO THERE AND SEE FOR YOURSELF instead of making stupid ignorant comments about someone you have never been on the mat with. Thank you.

Just a point - Humans have only been around for a hundred thousand years or so, but otherwise great video.

I LOVE Hapkido :) I'm a Blue belt at the moment and I'm training for my 2nd level :)

This video is very well done. I would love... I say LOVE ... to learn these techniques, and this way of life. Thanks for the video. For a short while, while in the Army I went to a man who was teaching this, but I got transferred before I could train.

The young woman is very good, she does not intellectualize, she does what she has to do without thinking about it. She seems to be operating on reflex and muscle memory and her internalized understanding of how her body physically interacts with her opponent's body. In my case, that understanding came only after a fair amount of practice :) And I still have a few more fundamentals to learn :)

AIKIZENDORYU!
we are not the same as we were "millions of years ago" we have evolved quite a bit, and should keep evolving... its should not be about fighting, but ending fights, may we drink tea, rather than struggle with each other. tao.

@CreepX I agree about ending fights. Absolutely! I aggree we should drink tea than have war. Although war is a necessary evil. As we do not beleive in the theory of evolution, we have been the same as long as ther has been the discovery of the "martial arts" as we know it today. 5,000 years of Asian history. We are the same today as then. in order for peopel to hit us, they must attack. Therefore, we must defend. Thank you CreepX for your comment.

what exact difference is there between hapkido and aikido?
Humanoids 7 months ago
@Humanoids Here is a basic answer to your question. search for "hapkiyoosool" in google. On the home page scroll down slightly to click on the button "more Hapkido Info" just below the video with the girl in the picture and then scroll to the bottom and hit "Hapkido and Aikido?"

I love this art, its pretty and cool to look at, i use it all the time when i grapple as a bjj blue belt, wrist locks make ppl move, they are not throwing themselfs, but i do thinkd a style vs style a ground fighting art would do well against this on, but it would be a good run for its money.

@randywilliams1234 You are right Randy. I have never had a BJJ guy do very well at all on the mat with us. We do not train for sport but combat. Rules need not apply. ^_^
