i agree they were a bit scripted, but i admire the thought behind them, shes not taking herself too seriously. Being able to laugh at ones self and take a disability in her stride is an admireable characteristic.

Geri came to my school and spoke recently. She makes a great motivational speaker and her jokes are so much funnier now then they were back then. She's such a sweet and wonderful person and she signed a copy of her book "Walking as Straight as I can" for me and wrote "happy birthday" in it. It was my 20th birthday.
