Danny Moder Christmas

My friend Danny Moder was an excellent camera assistant. When I shot this, he told me about Christmastime, December 23 a few years ago, when after a long hours sleep experience, he had to make a dangerous decision. Fortunately he is with us today as an excellent Director of Photography. We should learn, as Danny did: Never confuse having a career with having a life.

I hope these stories help change things. These insane hours aren't necessary: it falls under that axiom lack of proper planning shouldn't impose an emergency on every one else.
