It's all prefrence. If you love Meinl or Zildjian, that's fine. I don't see why people insult others for liking a certain cymbal
-
Meinl cymbals for the win
-
so I guess that's the reason why they cost more than the other cymbal brands

"these casts are carefully prepared"
-lobs cast into box- lmao!! :D

@RockDrummah96 I find Sabians too dark and sizzly like there cracked. And Zildjian is just as innovative. And more people use sabian. Zildjian has better hats, rides chinas

@alltogetherseperate well the founder of sabian is from the zildjian family, so its not unlikely that their would be some similarities lol

sabian in my opinion is just as good as zildjian, if not a little better. the reason why most people choose zildjian is because its been around a LONG time, and the company has the support of several great old school rock drummers. (the ones that most people grew up watching.)
but in reality, sabian is a WAY more innovative company, and to me their cymbals are more musical and their crashes are by far better than zildjian crashes. just because something is older doesnt mean its better.
can someone tell me, in the melting room. when the craftsman pours the metal , its like silver! in the zildjian video part 2, they show the foundrey again except, when poured the metal is fire red. why is the 2 prosses diffrent from each other ? sincerly andy !

@SAEWOT At SABIAN, the process of combining the metals is a very closely guarded secret. No one is allowed in the building during an actual melt… not even a film crew. So what was actually filmed that day was a tin melt, not the actual ‘secret’ process. That way you still see the equipment used and the basic process but the ‘secret’ remains a secret.
