I actually just read that book on my Kindle Fire. I thought it was very fascinating. I knew that a'lot of the problems with WCW had to do with the management but I had no idea that Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash were such attention whores that they were only concerned with everything being about them and their buddies. Not to mention the incompetence of Vince Russo.

The book "Death of WCW" is a great read for any REAL wrestling fan. I've read it countless times, always wishing it would have a much better ending. Sadly that wasn't the case. WCW was a great promotion....it should still be one.

@BIGDAZR Yes, that is Barry Blaustein who directed and produced Beyond The Mat there with Hall and Nash. Beyond The Mat is a bunch of smark / dirt sheet fictional trash just as Death Of WCW was. Both Beyond The Mat and Death Of WCW have been discredited over the years by events and those who know what really has happened. As with Death Of WCW, I liked Beyond The Mat when I first viewed it, but on repeated viewing and using critical thinking skills, it is clear both of those works were fake.

@hambalony Oink, oink, it is you again Hamilton Pig looking for some punking and owning from me, so I will give it to you with 1 comment before I ignore you on this video here after this. I gather from this comment your gay boy toy Bob IS NOT (ain't IS NOT a word) talking to you since you used too much teeth when blowing him last night. From "pee pee head" I now know you are only 6 years old. I am waiting for you to crawl from your mom's basement and MAKE ME shut up you wimpy little troll.

@hairbandfan 100% wrong. WCW was always going to go out of business no matter what happened in WWF because WCW was always poorly run. WWF made Stone Cold a huge draw, but he alone did not save the WWF nor make it great. Besides Austin, WWF had Rock, Kane, DX, Mick Foley, McMahon and a lot of other hot drawing acts. If Austin was all that saved WWF and killed WCW, then WWF would have gone doown and WCW would have gone right back up when Austin missed all of 2000 with his neck injury surgery.

@MRobert21 Kevin nash was a winner, unlike u a big fat weener. You need to go watch some real matches instead of that frutie stuff your watching. Your a fan of hbk? obviously faggot.

@joeyecw If you do not know how the stock market and global economics affect all businesses, including sports and entertainment businesses, then I do not have the space in 500 characters to teach you about it, but Nash (and I) are right and know way more about it than you do. The dot com bust directly led to the death of ECW and then WCW. The death of WCW was a minor part of the death of AOL / Time Warner. The global economic crash eventually did badly hurt the WWF as well starting in 2001.

@PlagueRiddenGoat AOL Time Warner was a public corporation, but WCW was a private subsidiary of that public corporation, so WCW was privately held, which means you have no idea what you are talking about. WCW was totally privately owned in 1988 when it first went bust and Ted Turner bought it, so being privately owned did not help WCW then. Every wrestling company in history that has went out of business was privately owned. WWF became the first and only publicly owned wrestling company in 1999
One thing WCW never had was a "Kiss My Ass Club" Just ask Mick Foley. He put his life on the line over and over again to put and keep the WWF/E on the map and Vince made him kiss his ass in front of millions of people including his wife and kids.
