@MahoganyMarmalade *SPOILER WARNING!! If you have NOT played Silent Hill 3 DO NOT READ THIS.*
Yea after I typed that I started trying to remember the third name and it donned on me that the 3rd name I was thinking of was actually Alessa's reincarnation, Heather
@FFFan3445 *shrug* I actually enjoyed Homecoming. SH4 had parts I liked, but parts I did not as well. However I would never say I hate it. I just don't like that one as much as the rest.
As far as Shattered Memories... I liked it as well. It was a bit easier than the other Silent Hill games.. and that bothered me a little. However other than that I liked it.
@MahoganyMarmalade Why do the fans hate SH4 and Homecoming so much? Because they're a bunch of cunts. OH NO, THE MOVIE EMPLOYED SOME NEW CHARACTERS FOR A DIFFERENT STORY! Have you even played Shattered Memories? It's my favorite game, I've played over a hundred hours of it but I beat it in eight hours each time. Changing the names, genders and roles of some of the characters was a great way to differentiate itself from the game and break off on a new story path. The movie kicked major ass.
@FFFan3445 Also, laughing about the 'love letter to silent hill fans'. If its a love letter, how come the silent hill game fans hate the movie so much? I have yet to meet a fan of the original game that doesn't think the movie is above 'meh' status.
@FFFan3445 the story doesn't really follow the original other than the towns name is silent hill and someone lost their kid in it. The only characters that were the same were cybil and dahlia( though she is nothing like the original dahlia, because , dahlia killed alessa in the game, not some cult 'burning witches' witches aren't in the original game either) the only thing the movie really had going was the fantastic cg effects so tell me, how is the movie 'honest and pure' to the original game?
@FFFan3445 How is the movie even like the game? For one, Rose isn't even a character in the original games, neither is sharon, nor christabella. (I don't care if sharons supposed to be cheryl. if they wanted to be like the game, they wouldn't have changed her name.) (con't)
@MahoganyMarmalade How about yes. The screaming in the movie and the awful ending sequence were the only aspects that really, really sucked about it, everything else was gorgeous, it felt like a love letter to Silent Hill fans who aren't crazy about the stories being totally different for each and every single character based off their emotions. It was a great place to jump into the series for a bunch of non-gamers, it got my little sister to try the games out and she loves them. It succeeded.

@CaptinTrips Nah, she just had two, Cheryl and Alessa. Sharon is not one of her names

@MahoganyMarmalade You do know... Charyl has like.. Three different names in the games themselves right?
Currently can not remember if Sharon was one of them. ( I don't think it was one of them though to be honest )
