  • The FIRST Hank Williams cover (the first of many of course).

  • Zeke Turner, lead guitar, and JERRY BYRD, on steel guitar..................How nice!

WHAT is on the flip side of this old disc. I have the three other sides that were cut with BYRD and have been upset because I had no idea what the 4th cut might be. Many thanks to you for solving that dilemma..

  • @vveq Charlie Christian was playing his electric guitar in 1936 & recorded with Benny Goodman from 1939 so think you're years are a bit out.

  • I'm so glad you posted this. Jimmie and Leon (and Buddy and Tommy) were my uncles. We love to hear them play! This song is so funny, just like they were. I hope you don't take it off YouTube, so we can come hear them again and again! Thanks ~

  • Excellent!

  • Ah oui 1947! Je l'avais sûrement oublié. Bravo!

  • 78 rpm ~~~ Look at thing go! Nice guitar solo at 1:15. Electric guitars just started being made in the 1940s. So in 1947 this was one of the first to be recorded.

  • brilliant mate thanks
