@b0bb0bs0n That's a useful way of thinking of it. Of course, it's crucial that the CNOT has two qubits as output, not one, as for the XOR.

@ufoengines I very much doubt it - it'll be some time before we have real world quantum computers capable of breaking complex encryption.

Its great to see academics share their stuff with the rest of us on youtube, but, please, PLEASE, prepare your presentation so that it proceeds at an appropriate rate for learning. The one thing that many youtube lecture videos can teach us is that there is a desperate need for public speaking education in our post sec ed system. This vid moves far too slowly because of the method of visual presentation employed. There is lots to learn about in the world folks, lets move it along...
