A couple of friends (Glenn and Toshi) and I went fishing on the Little Truckee River in November. Toshi ended up catching a beautiful rainbow trout. It was a beautiful trip and river to fish.

WTF??? Toshi - all that time your are inspecting your flies and picking dirt off the fish, it is gasping and dying. Try getting it back in the water ASAP! Imagine running a 1/4 mile at full speed and then someone ducking you under water - that is what the fish is going through. Beautiful fish, but if that is how you catch & release, you are killing those fish.

@PineconeEater You can fish anywhere on the Nv side of the Truckee except by Derby Dam or the inlet at pyramid lake. There are special regs through stateline to crystal peak. Artificial barbless 2 fish over 14.

ya im pretty sure you can fish there...As long as it is not posted that you can not fish.
