@PimpSlapNoJutsu The AK is also a battle rifle, but can be dealy to 300 yards with the proper sights etc!

@PimpSlapNoJutsu-- It was a battle rifle for only I believe 6 years and then it was replaced with the M16.
The M14 has been used by both police and military as a sniper rifle since it came into use.

We don't use M14's for sniping. Almost as bad as the person who said MW2 was the most recent COD game on Jeopardy.
