yes i do have finale and realized how unimpressive it sounds...
i do like the oboe notion though.

Wow, that's what I was thinking (well, oboe at least). I had a hard time deciding between oboe and flute. I'm not sure how the Finale celeste sounds. Later this week I will try it with oboe and celeste and email you the MP3.

Hm, I hadn't thought of that.

almost sounds like beauty and the beast cos of the flute =X

Is it ok if i recommend a song for you to arrange?!

Hey,
Thank you for all your comments! I do have the sheet music for the other songs you mentioned (Pretty Horses, Nothing Else Matters, the other one that I don't remember now!), etc. Please see the link to my website in the video description :-)
Also I'd be happy to arrange something. What did you have in mind?

Wow! Great song (although the oboe version is better...) I was wondering if I could have the sheet music for the oboe? Thanks!
Also I was wondering how did you get the quality of the music so good? I have finale and the music sounds horible... I just record over myself!

Thank you. And I agree; oboe is best!
I'll send you a private message about sheet music.
Within Finale I'm using VST instruments, not MIDI. I'm not sure if all versions of Finale have this feature. Go to "MIDI/Audio" in the menu bar and select "Play Finale through VST."

Finale's celesta sounded horrible, but I made a version for oboe and electric piano. YouTube doesn't allow links in comments, but I linked to the MP3 in the video description.
