Thank goodness Australia is still part of the ''great imperial family'', even if it is in the form of the Commonwealth. How fortunate we've also been to have the daughter of King George VI as our Queen and Head Of State for nearly 60 years, who could ask for a greater example of all that is good, and reminds us of our history and on what we built the foundations of our nation. God Save The Queen.

The coronation took place on May 12, 1937. They had no idea how innocent they were. In less than 10 years, 50 million people then living would be dead as a result of the Second World War.
