I remember being a baby in my push chair at an oriental shopping center when a lion/dragon identical to this one appeared with incredibly loud drums and cymbals. If was from a far distance and it was getting closer, I started screaming my eyes out, but they didn't take me away.

I had to witness the whole thing. I had nightmares for ages afterwoods. Now I look back at it and laugh, but they still give me the creeps. The types of costumes they use would be a great inspiration for horror movies.

@saige94 I lived there too. I was a U.S. Marine. In 2001-2004. 3rd FSSG. I love the Ryuku people and Oki. The best time in my life. I learned Japanese Iaido and Chinese wushu martial arts. I still practice today. Shuri Castle is still one of the best places I've seen in my life. Nice to meet you. Adamo
