Brie , will you be donating a larger portion of your paycheck this year to cover the estimated 770 million it cost North Carolina to school the children of illegals ? , down here in Georgia it was almost 1 billion.

@SpinCage Get some backbone and accept that our government has gotten us into this because only our government knows its agenda. Maybe it is because you do not realize that in the short future the US will be competing with other countries to attract cheap labor in order to stay globally competitive.
So, I can go on forever but what is the point. “Americans” will remain ignorant to a lot of things because still have that sense of “entitlement”.

The facts are that we currently allow 125,000 new immigrants to legally enter the country every single month of the year. 80% or 100,000 per month of those are from Mexico. Why does Mexico get the lions share of legal immigration when there are so many from countries that are much more destitute? We need to stop all immigration from Mexico and give others a fair shot at the American dream. Mexico is using us...it needs to stop now.

Mexico needs to at least try to improve the situtation for its citizens instead of exporting their problem. It a narco state and always has been. Their government should be ashamed of how it treats its people. Mexico's problems should not be Americas problems but sadly they have become so. Although some recent reports suggest illegal immigration from Mexico has gone way down.

I'm a 19 year old Mexican American. I graduated high school with honors and a football scholarship. My father was an immigrant who came over and met my white mother. I don't have to face the hardships these people have to, but I believe that we have to educate both sides more on this subject. I agree that people should be documented when they come here, but some Americans just see it as they are low lifes. All they want is a chance.

All of you are very uneducated. America is a country founded by immigrants. You guys could not last a day in the shoes of these people. do not speak if you do not know what you are saying dummies. Never judge unless you have been through the same thing because you have no right!

I absolutely agree with immigration into this country, LEGALLY. Crossing the desert on foot and leaving TONS of trash, destroying the Sonora Desert's ecosystem, is not the way. Why is it better to break the law to come here just because it takes too long to come here legally? Also, the human traficking going on in the desert is harming the MEXICANS THEMSELVES. Women and children are raped out there. What about human rights? These women and children are not protected in the desert.

THANK YOU!
Why are people trying to convince americans that (ILEGAL) immigration and LEGAL Immigration are one and the same? because they are not, there's a huge difference and no matter how many sad faces and shanty towns you put in videos to try and make americans feel sorry for those who broke the law to get into this country is going to change that fact.
I know you will delete or flag and thumbs down this comment but so what.

@makeme708 I am not trying to make them equal. I was simply trying to put a face to the problem and make people think.

I will only approve comments that are constructive. If you are just bashing for the sake of bashing, I'm going to delete it so don't even bother spreading your negativity here.

I will admit I misunderstood your statistics at first, now I understand. Why even bring up the 451 if you are only really discussing the 34 and 86? In terms of screening comments, I am doing this because I want this to be a place for legitimate debate, not rampant derogatory statements and culture bashing. I do not and will not support such comments - if you want to do this, go to a different site or video, there are many who are more than willing to support your bitter diatribes.

Only 34 out of 451 were "Americans?" What the heck do you consider Americans then? So what were the rest of the 311 booked? Your numbers don't add up! Also, how many of the 106 were illegal? If you want to make a point - and I believe you do which is why I am allowing the comments - give me a full break down of the 451 - nationality and citzenship (as much as you can at least). Furthermore, of the 1 in 13 -- how many are illegal immigrants. I'm guessing many are Americans with DWI, etc.
