fix the stator, and nothing will spinning!

N4CR5, electrons don't spin in the sense you're talking about. "Spin" is a word used to explain the concepts, but there's no actual spinning going on. And there's no perpetual motion in electrons, of course.

KBendix: Sure. Free energy from outside sources (solar power, for example) is quite reasonable. But this video is claiming the energy comes from the earth's magnetic field, which is incorrect.

Science book? Science books don't explain everything. There can be some external energy source what you can't find in science books. Free energy doesn't mean creating energy... it means that you can get energy for free... ...from some external source... ... ...by using some free energy devices.

Magnetism is explained very well in science books. as well as thermodynamics. and psychology books explain very well how do make the monkeys scream - by showing them a turd and telling them its a banana. he takes more time running around than actually showing his experiment, guess why.

And it's not spinning very well, at that. It would be a far more efficient use of "hand power" for him to just spin the thing like a top and do away with the smoke screen of magnets.

What perpetual motion machine makes electrons spin ;)?

No, it's not tapping into the "earth's magnetic field". The earth's magnetic field is millions of times smaller than the magnets he's moving around with his hand. If it were "tapping into" any source of power outside his hand motion, then it should spin without him holding the magnets. It's spinning because he's moving his hand, which also has far more energy than the earth's magnetic field exerts on the experiment. When he stops moving his hand, the effect stops.

Yet another guy that's never read a science book and thinks he's found a perpetual motion machine.

don't be a jerk, it's not perpetual motion. It's tapping into the earth's magnetic field using magnets. Just like solar power isn't free, but from the sun.... only 'free energy' meaning it costs nothing to us to utilise....

precisely!!! and the reason why the 'top' stops spinning is because the motion isn't perpetual.
