Folsom-Placerville Rail Trail Pinoy MTB

Actually the trail we took started at Shingle Springs- Placerville but as part of the proposed rail-trail conversion it will be from Folsom to Placerville. Hence the name. We rode this trail upon the knowledge of OTBP_Norcal on his post at MTBR Nor Cal Forum. Thank you so much.

@Squeek94 To answer my own question... Things west of MoFlat are totally legal and rideable. Never been west of Greenstone road, but the trail continues on. To be continued...

WOW! Things have changed. The Missouri Flat Rd trail to the Jail is all paved now, and the bridge is very pedestrian freindly. Looks less like a train bridge. (which I always suspected it was)
Do you know mjcort27, if I was to head west from Missouri Flat along the train tracks...is that legal? I don't think its county maintained. Anyway....whatcha think? Is it doable these days? .... and legal?(secondary)

i am not sure of the name but you can hit actually by starting the trail near El Dorado County Jail... hope this helps.
