Day five of my vlog. Worst vlog ever? Maybe that's just because I got scammed today. I give five tips on how to avoid the "bait & switch" job posting scam that I fell for on Craigslist. (Ad promises a great job. Once interviewed, they say you're hired and ask you to pay for overpriced job training. When the training is complete they ask you to leave. It turns out they can't employ anyone because they are not a licensed employment agency and there was no job.) Check out these websites for detailed information:

  • @jellyjigglerman That sounds fun! You should post a video about how you glean through the fake jobs to find the gems!

  • @davidanastasiou I've gained about $3000 a month for doing Craigslist gigs.

Jobs ranged from tutoring a young driver and acting as a "spy" for a person.

  • don't ever go to CL for jobs. cheap low life employers want to pay experienced employees fuckin minimum wage. i seen a job post on CL for movers, helpers 8.00 hr and drivers 9.00 hr. unexperienced helpers start off 11.00 hr experienced helpers make 13.00 hr. drivers start off at 15.00, experienced drivers make 18.00 hr. they chage 80.00 to 90.00 hr, 100 minimum plus gas and they only want to pay their helpers and drivers minimum wage. FUCK THEM THOSE CHEAP ASSHOLES!

  • @KamidakeRed I completely agree. Last time I checked, this scam was still in operation. Somehow these criminals slip through the cracks of justice.

  • Why are these people out there just to hurt those that are really looking for work to make their lives better,,, its should be against the law to post jobs on any site with a a background check of the people posting the job because these scams are so crazy during theses hard times in New York People wanna play with your life play with your hopes these people are monsters.. No Wonder there are so may people out of work you have to search through the bull shit just to find something real

  • Yup, some scammers tried to rip me off with a fake job offers after I responded to a Craig's List ad. Fortunately, I figured out it was a scam before giving them any information like my SSN.

There's a special place in HELL for these bastards. Preying on the unemployed? REALLY?

Craig's List has been reduced to a gathering place for crooks to run their scams and prostitutes to advertise themselves.

Get your shit together, Craig's List, before your reputation is damaged beyond repair!
