Compassion in World Farming's investigation tracked five overcrowded lorry-loads of sheep being transported from Romania to Greece. We found animals being trampled, lying on floors soaking with animal waste, in trucks with insufficient headroom and with no access to water on at least part of their 26-hour journey.
