Jack Thompson on 1170 KFAQ Part 2

Many know who this self proclaimed anti-video game vigilante is. Most of us however, have never heard him speak. I listened to him for an hour on local radio with the new host Pat Campbell (who so far isn't that bad, he just has questionable taste in "friends")

After listening to Thompson and the way he would not let a person speak, and specifically telling one teenager he didn't matter statistically, I believe he is doing this for himself, not for any great good.

I only got the last question at the very end but was, of course, cut off by Thompson and not able to follow up.

But you can decide for yourself. It's 38 minutes cut into 4 parts.

Counter Strike Half Life? Those are two different games there, guy. If he was truly passionate about getting these games out of the hands of children then he wouldn't be trying to sue them to make money off of them, he'd be trying to have a bill passed to make the fines for selling an M rated game to a child more steep. He was just trying to make a few bucks off of the controversy. I'm glad he has lost the ability to practice law and can't bring up these awful lawsuits anymore.

@psommorr So true, Ive been playing shooters since I was like 9, I tried shooting a glock and a revolver last autumn, I think I hit the targets like 5 times with about 100 bullets.

Jack Thompson doesn't know that there's actual science when firing a gun, like recoil, wind disruption, distance, the weight of an actual gun, the safety, and the psyche of an actual person. I played all of the video games, he's talking about, and I was about 12 at the time, and i cannot pull the trigger of an actual gun. Give me a gun and i'll have no idea of what to do.
