if america put tariffs on chinese goods they'd be penalising their own companies. for, many companies that import from china are american owned. they went over there to be able to produce stuff cheaply, ship it back to america to sell at the same price as their competitors stuff. why does america allow this?

@kenstrumentals Thanks for ur answer. I wish DEMCAD would answer that specific question as well. I'd like to know what he thinks about that since he talks about economics so much. It would seem that that would be a very important part of our economic system to keep in mind.
