After a foamy disappointment at Pebble Beach, Jim P and I headed down to Panther Beach for some wild and windy wave action and a great sunset!

Fantastic work. Found this based on one of the stills someone else had featured on Flickr. Amazing foam action... really wonder what might have been shot of that stuff with the right macro lens?

may I suggest a Zoom H4n audio recorder for an audio sync to your camera video. It comes with a wind screenthat may help out in the field. I have one of these in my audio/video collection. Thanks. :) Edward

I have a Canon T2i camera which is phenomenal with photos and video. .I need to get me a Tokina 11-16mm lens for the wide angle shots. Anyhow, I like your work from this youtube video alone. I think I posted a video short of me at panther beach. South of the tunnel opening that is. Thanks for sharing. .because you know. .sharing is caring. :)

What camera and lens did you use for this shoot? I'm rather fond of Panther Beach being out of the way of Santa Cruz. Can you set up a camp fire along that beach though? I'm not sure. Thanks for the response.

@palmtrees89: I used a Nikon D300s and a Tokina 12-24mm lens.
Many people do set up campfires at this beach, though I think it's illegal, and it's bothersome because the party-ers always leave tons of trash on the beach. I wouldn't mind the campfires if people would just clean up after themselves.
