There is an inherent danger in the desire to be at the center of a social crowd absent the necessary training and studies required in taking up these pursuits, including all those she lists as forthcoming interests. Talking about them isn't the same as the challenge - intellectually, of undertaking the production, organization, direction of artistic projects. You make them happen because you love what you are doing, not as pursuits that sustain an interest in fame.

All preoccupation with image and personal issues aside...I think this is really about whether she is expressing talent as a musician and vocalist and I find so much of the time that the focus isn't on THAT... but the preoccupation with socializing or the personal life: music is still about that, that is what an album, a career in music actually is. Sometimes, persons arise in the business with a great personal story or unusual character, but it can't stand entirely on dramatic posturing.

Is this album even coming out? She's been talking about it forever now. And why is it being released as Hole now? Hole was Courtney and Eric and other people not just Courtney. The music may sound ok but her voice has gone to crap with all her drugs and smoking.

Quit worrying about lawsuits and lawyers and release the effin album already.
