I was in Central WA fighting the Tyee and Rat Creek fires, and was supposed to go to CO... Something in the planning got messed up, and I stayed... RIP to all my Brothers

If this takes offense to anyone, I'm sorry. Has there every been thoughts from Hollywood about making a movie about the South Canyon Fire? From where I come from, hardly anyone knows what wildland firefighting is and how dangerous it can be at times. maybe a motion picture can get the general public to be more aware of that, and support our efforts as wildland firefighters. Howie Long's "Firestorm" didn't exactly do the trick.

we went over and over this fire in one of my classes, There was nothing any of the fire fighters could do. The fire changed on them they didn't have time to get to safety. It happen again in the year 2007 at the fires in San Diego. has long has we get bad brush fires and forest fires things like this well keep happening. It happens and it sucks. my good friend on my team died at a fire couple years ago.
