  • I got the luminizer palette today and the conceal and correct palette, they're pretty good aye! I wanted to get the brushes...but Id rather put in a bit more money for a brush that would last longer cos they seem to shed quite easy... the eyeshadow brushes seemed awesome tho, plus the size of the powder brushes seemed perfect, just wasn't too sure about the shedding! thanks for the awesome review xx

  • So far mine hasn't shed since the day I've bought it which was over a year ago now. Just ask the sales/MUA if you could have a look and feel of the brush before buying it. The main reason for shedding is that the item in faulty. That being said, all big brushes shed for the first few washes and thats normal

  • Just thought I'd let you know that Napoleon Perdis simply repackages cheaper brands of cosmetics.

His colour discs($25) are La Femme pressed eyeshadows which you can get on sale for $5.

Also, his foundation primer ($48) is exactly the same as Face Of Australia primer which is around $10.

Don't get ripped off. I used to buy his shit before I realised I was paying more than 3 times the price for the exact same product.

  • Hey, yeah I have heard that and have stopped purchasing their eyeshadows just incase its true (the only ones I own are the ones in this video). What I have read have only been on forums. I totally disagree with you about the primer though. I have both & not only do they smell totally different from each other but they both have different consistencies and finishes. Even though I wont be buying anymore of their e/s I'm still really happy with the ones I have. Thanks for the heads up though =)

  • Which Napoleon shop do you shop at?

  • If you compare the ingredients list of both of the primers you'll notice they're EXACTLY the same and the ingredients are in the exact same order. It's possible that NP changed the fragrance a little, but I cannot notice an other difference between to two.

  • Thank you SO much for this, hun!

  • great review!! thanks!!
