Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge 2010

Here is our small feature on the 2010 Yokohama World Time Attack Challenge held at Eastern Creek Raceway in Sydney Australia.

This is just a small taste of what Jet Multimedia produced in the 2-hour full length DVD that is available from www.worldtimeattack.com

The full length DVD is available in PAL and NTSC in all regions. It has 2 hours of the best coverage of the event with cameras all around the track plus multiple hi-def on-baord cameras. Behind the scenes, pit reports and interviews take you through the event step by step. There is also a detailed look at all the pro class cars and coverage of open and clubsprint class. Off track entertainment and the Tectaloy Drift Challenge is all in there!!

Time attack cars are built to go a few laps at a time so couldnt do 12 hour races. The appeal is that they tunes for maximum attack, not endurance.

There was some un-restricted V8 Supercars at the event. They got whooped!!

If the majority of the footage was in HD, will you be releasing a BluRay version so we can watch it in HD rather than SD which the DVD is likely to be?

I wish we were releasing a Blue Ray version but the costs involved are still too prohibitive. Filming and editing in HD does make the end product , even though an SD DVD, better quality though.

@MotiveDVD well you could put selected true HD parts up on itunes, far less costs involved and the possibility of greater revenue. worth looking into for the next event, if you cant do it this time.

I would love to see this event held as "run what you make in your country" event. Example: U.S. Mustang Corvette etc. Germany Porsche Audi whatever. That would be interesting. These are some great cars I never heard of this event, but I like it

@ddontforgett hard to understand it myself, its within subject of a/f ratio.....usually tuners tune their car more fuel compare to air for each combustion cycle so that it doesn't lean out if something goes wrong. lean out is more air ratio than fuel which will make the exhaust temperature hotter than normal which in turn lead to many internal engine failure such as valves, piston melt etc....
