  • Yeah, let's take a look at shows that (supposedly) don't use writers: reality TV. Case closed, lol.

  • HILARIOUS! This and AMPTP's New Proposal. Well done. I hope you all get ass cancer... lol

  • this made me really mad, and i'm not even a write, all these huge corp. are Aholes, like viacom and those companies.... good luck!

  • Me being a aspiring screenwriter, I think that, what the writer's being paid a third of a penny on DVD is ludicrous. I mean come on! If it wasn't for writers, tv and movies wouldn't be so hot. Al they were asking for was 4 cents extra on DVD sales and 2.5% on internet profits. Long argument short, the writer's write it, without them, well, tv would suck, so I think that the writer's should make some profit off of, iTunes/internet downloads and DVD sales.

  • The "Hollywood Reporter" quoted Thomas Short, President of IATSE (union of stage hands & motion pic techs, etc.) as saying,"I don't believe the WGA ever intended to bargain in good faith. They are destroying a lot of lives in the process. As a result of their irresponsible and irrational behavior, the number of IA members who have lost work is approaching 40,000 people."

  • Your post just proves what I've been saying about the AMPTP paying losers to post anti-WGA lies on the internet, and the only 2 points they think people will buy into are:

ALL writers are rich, make hundreds of thousands per year, sit around doing nothing, etc.

The WGA/writers are responsible for the loss of wages and jobs of below the line workers.

Post this: the AMPTP tried to f**k the WGA out of deserved residuals, then played games at the table and broke talks.

  • AND, supposed person not AMPTP drone...

You heard for yourself in a supermarket 2hand info. and THAT'S enough to form an opinion?

Look up the definition of SCAB. It's not just a derogatory word.

As a matter of fact, the WGA is fighting for your "brother's" healthcare and pension as well as the $ protection of every other unionized group that works in the bus. of tv. and film as well as themselves. Their contract just came up first.

  • If you don't know who the AMPTP are...you have no business discussing the strike in the first place...but here you go:

AMPTP: Assoc. of Motion Picture and Television Producers, otherwise referred to for striking purposes as "the big 6"- the 6 major studios: Sony, Paramount, Buena Vista, NBC Studios, Fox and Time Warner. Note the media ownership and the lack of in depth/accurate coverage of the strike in the news?

  • You never answered my question drone,

Does the AMPTP pay you by the hour or by the post?

You are a very lazy drone BTW.
