According to Police a gunman spent nearly 10 minutes on his knees praying with the clerk at an Indianapolis check cashing business before fleeing with her cell phone and $20 from the register.

Christ is the Son of God and the only one that has the power to deliver us...good thing He is a God of love since he does have the power to do what He chooses...meaning he could have not given us a chance of diliverance through Christ and every person would be seperated from God in 'hell'' but good news for us..He has given us a way of deliverence..he is not the cause of our sins but our way out. Read a bit the history of religions, you will find interesting mesopotemian myths that are the basis for the birth of the Christian religion.

In my opinion quoting a text does not make it true. I am glad you find guidance in the bible and I respect that opinion, yet that does take out that children are abused and live to grow with that pain for the rest of their lives.

God hasn't even made it difficult for us to be with him, we must simply surrender and admit to him that we do have sin, we are not perfect, we are in need of God, that He is the only one that can save us, and this through what Christ has done for us on the cross. Because Christ was and is perfect he took your sin on him and was punished in your place for YOUR sins...that is love. ''Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out,.'' Acts 3:19 God loves you and is calling you.

We have a loving God that gives us plenty of chances to repent of our sins...Hitler was a cold blooded murderer. God will get rid of all evil, sickness, dying, pain,sorrow...no person likes these things, why would God want to keep them around. Hitler only promoted these things. With God there will not be any of these things. Hitler self destructed, God will not and we should be thankful that in his mercy he has provided a way for us to have access to be with Him and not be seperated from Him.

What makes him different from, say, Hitler?

Because god sends only those who believe in him and support him to heaven, and the rest to hell, right?

Well, Hitler did the same. The Nazi's, which supported Hitler, were given a great life, while the rest, which didn't support him, were killed, tortured, put in concentration camps, etcetera.

Jezus probably existed, but his backstory is debetable...Heavily debetable.
