@Grizelda1227 yeah, like 2102lovelilly said, it's event grease they put it on the front of the horse's legs to help them get through brush fences, or if they take a knock, to try to help them get over the fence without losing too much time and momentum or injuring themselves

@Grizelda1227 i cant remember what it is called but it is some form of greese that is put on the horses legs to help then slide over, if they get into a tricky situation

The cross country stage of the event is always so fun to watch watch when all goes well but when accidents happen all you can do is gasp and hope for the best.

Its grease, so if a horse's leg gets caught on a jump, it slides, rather than getting stuck there.
