With 22 channels of USB audio, the MP25 can simultaneously mix 4 channels of USB, turntable or CD audio, while sending and returning VST effects, and recording multiple tracks or the main mix to any application supporting ASIO (Windows) or Core Audio (Mac). All controls are MIDI-mappable to control parameters within your software.

The MP25 is not ITCH or Scratch Live enabled/compatible, sorry. But, the mixer does ship with ASIO and Core Audio drivers for other (non-dongle type) audio programs. The MP25 is fully MIDI mappable :)

@ranecorporation I still use good ole vinyl and my Rane MP 22 mixer w/Tech 1200's. I travel a lot overseas for long periods nowadays and have been converting some of my vinyl to digital for travel use . I've done some research into various DJ controllers , but have not found anything impressive..they all are basically plastic toys..or too large for a carry on. I have a couple questions about the MP25. First would it be compatible with Serato Itch? Also can one map ptich adj. to it? Thanks :)

Sorry for the delay on this.. Yes! You absolutely can! You will still need one of the Rane hardware devices if your going to be using Scratch Live though. The MP25 is not a Scratch Live mixer.

@8BallsJ Correct.. you can have several effects in Ableton that you can then simply turn on/off.

My video will explain it well. Shoot me an email at zachs@rane.com and I'll send you the outline of the video which will get you up and running right now:)

@8BallsJ I am currently working on the script for creating a video to walk you through how to do the VST routing.

You can apply various VSTs to any channel on the mixer but you can't have, say a reverb in Ableton effecting the track on channel 1 and then have a delay effecting channel 2. There is one Flex FX bus. Anything ran through it will get the effects coming from Ableton applied to it.

VERY NICE THANX. I'M USING 19" RANE MM8 Z MOJO MIXER WITH SERATO SL 3. I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR A USB COMPATABLE 19" MIXER WITHOUT HAVING TO SELL MY SERATO SL 3. I DIDN'T WANT TO BUY THE RANE TTM 57 SL. 12" MIXER. THIS WOULD CHANGE MY WHOLE RIG. THANX RANE CORP.

Yes, all the controls (faders, knobs and etc) are MIDI assignable. You can MIDI assign Scratch Live, Mix Emergency, Ableton, and etc :)
