The recordings—"Klayne Princesin" ("Small Princess"), "Naftule's Freylekhs," "Freylekher Yontef" ("Happy Holiday") and "Nifty's Eygene" ("Nifty's Own") delineate Brandwein's development during his 14-year absence from the studio. " —Yale Strom
This man is so hip. I hope at some point he and the great jazz clarinetist Sidney Bechet met. This had to have been from some time in the '20s or '30s. Anyone know for sure?
