I have a smart base for my queen sized bed and its held really good for 3 years now. No box spring needed and you don't feel the metal. My husband is 170lbs I'm 235, no issues with weight (our bed is really heavy too). Infact I'm buying 2 more for my children.

This is the best frame I have ever bought. It is a far superior product to the version that walmart sells. There are no expansion pieces, If you buy a queen you actually get a queen, not a full with expanders like walmart has. The added storage space underneath is adequate, and a bedskirt hides everything pretty well. I have recommended this product to friends. I was glad to find this product at finewebstores and it arrived just a few days after I ordered. Thank You !!

It was the worst product I have ever bought. We were well within the weight range and yet the bed kept collapsing under us. It scared me so bad I couldn't sleep until I got rid of the bed frame...it took me months to feel comfortable in bed again.
