Videotape (Early Live Version) - Radiohead

This is a live early version of the song "Videotape" by Radiohead off the "In Rainbows" album, I must say this a really moving version, don't know which version is better! All the photos in the video were included in the "In Rainbows" box set! For those who haven't seen them enjoy! n_n

Hey, I own the Radiohead box set but didn't realise it came with all of these photos. Is there some kind of digital booklet on one of the discs?

Yes, check out the enhanced CD which contains digital photos and artwork, and 8 additional tracks. This is sometimes referred to as "In Rainbows Disc 2".

I am almost certain this is from the Copenhagen show in 2006. I wish they had recorded it exactly like this on "In Rainbows". I saw 8-10 shows on this tour and after 100+ Radiohead shows, it was my favorite show. They have always written the right song at the right time for me ; )

@vacopolycangus I think this version is amazing, but I think they made the right decision stripping it down to a minimalistic ballad. There's so much sadness in this song, it's obviously about death, and saying goodbye to those who you loved, and the studio recording projects that emotion way better in my opinion. "This is my way of saying goodbye, because I can't do it face to face", that line kills me every time.
