I've never seen any such thing on or near the 401.. only off the 401.

@ruberfoo theres the don valley bike trails which follow the river and snake all around the bayview extension and down the DVP to the QEW, and all the way up north past don mills & eglinton

I'm a Scot, visited relatives on Toronto, Orono and Kingston, and driven Hwy 401 many times, without any problems. And enjoyed some of it!!!!, having said that, I've never driven it in winter, in the snow, but the sheer volume of traffic can be quite awesome, but if you can manage the M8 through Glasgow any night at rush hour, when the Old Firm are playing in Glasgow, or driven on the Edinburgh By pass, then you can manage the 401, lol

I agree... I'm Australian but I did live in Toronto for a while and the 401 scared the shit outta me.

It's like a highway on steroids.
