Boise State University's student club Greenspeed, which built the world's fastest vehicle that runs on vegetable oil, will display their truck at the Washington Auto Show in Washington, D.C. January 27 - February 5. Greenspeed's souped-up 1998 Chevrolet S-10 pick-up truck shattered the existing 98-mph record back in November 2011 with a run of 155-mph. Greenspeed demonstrates how students at Boise State have leveraged talent, resources and opportunity to showcase for the world, the potential of vegetable oil as an alternative fuel.
