Scottish "tribal" drum band - lots of drums only one bagpipe. From their 2002 album "Keep It Tribal." Band later split. Some original members formed a new band, Albannach, which is very much the same.

  • This is the first I've heard this group...absolutely love it....

  • @moncrief1961 They were great but, alas, they've split up. Some went on to form a new group, Albannach, and some remained in Clan an Drumma. Saw them live a few times at highland games and you can't describe it. I've seen videos but nothing gives you the feeling of seeing them live. It's the drumming, obviously. It speaks to your soul.

  • RIP Kilna..sadly missed..but yer music lives on.

  • Thank you for sharing. I did not know. : (

  • Did come to "Clan An Drumma" over "Sgt. MacKenzie" - so sad that founder Joseph MacKenzie passed away! His spirit lives on in that great music!
