Artguise Gallery is pleased to welcome a collection of new work by award winning Nelson B.C. born painter Kristy Gordon. Kristy's highly accomplished oil compositions transport the viewer back to an era of classically refined painting. The artist resists the inclination to embellish and romanticize her subjects as she is driven to convey the purest of their essence onto the canvas. She is inspired to paint people simplistically with the intent of evoking psychological response as a result of this meticulous method of observation. Her works are superbly executed and astonishingly fathomable in their lifelike impact. We sincerely hope that you are able to join us opening night when the artist shall be in attendance.
