Insufficient food, substandard education and cramped living quarters were some of the obstacles faced by the Timsina family, Bhutanese refugees who had been living in a refugee camp in Nepal. When the opportunity arose to be resettled in the US, the family moved halfway around the world to begin their new life. In this weeks IRC Voices, the Timsinas explain how English lessons, employment counseling and other services provided by the IRC are helping them make dramatic progress in their journey from harm to home.
