@ChiloteFlaite I wouldn't say that Dimmu Borgir are in the same genre as Mayhem and Bathory. Borgir have a more refined sound and symphonic parts, while Bathory were raw blackness.

@WolfyChun Maybe YOU should check YOUR facts before you talk more shit here. Black metal does exist since the 80's and Dimmu Borgir was founded in the early 90's ;). As chilote said you probably never heard of bands like Mayhem, Bathory or Venom. Also Darkthrone was founded earlier than Dimmu Borgir and had a huge impact on the norwegian Black Metal. Actually you don't know anything about Black Metal and are not a true fan as it seems to me so pls don't post anymore shit here :).
