Surprised to hear the insurance came through.

Holly and Ryan you guys Rock! Seriously all these losers on the internet have no clue. Probably stuck in Ohio or Missouri with nothing better to do. Ya the experience sucked while it was happening, but 2 years from now you'll just laugh. A lot of ppl just would give up and say screw this place, but you came back and CHARGED hard and the surf gods will repay you! You gotta pay your dues.. and well yours are paid in full!
Can't wait to meet you guys at the camp!

You two were very patient and good-natured about the whole experience. Dad was great too! Nice to see. Not many people know (like you) how to take joy where they can find it - after all, life is the journey not the destination :-)

nice little rig, glad you were able to get paid by insurance and get it back in the game. thanks for the vids. cheers

@381polaris did you not read the all the captions???? I was only functional enough to 'limp' to the junk yard.
.....just because it can drive doesn't mean it aint broken.

What was the name of the Mexican Insurance you used?

Talk about taking charge in a bad situation! When things seem the most daunting, you just get the job done! This will stay in the back of my mind next time I am faced with the insurmountable.

That really sucks.

you said it drove out of the ditch so why is it in the junk yar it still works

Sorry about your nice camper truck. Glad no one was hurt seriously. Could have been much worse. Lost my 89 Mustang convertible after being hit head on by a S15 P/U.

Man!! Thanks for sharing this video! Nice job with the filming mate. Did you get a new truck after all this time pass? Or, did you say... "-Heck! I'm getting married. No time for a new truck now...":)

Yeah, Mexican insurance paid for everything (except the towing because we insisted on using a flat bed which cost extra $500). We ended up getting close to $10K out of the insurance to totally fix the truck! Buy insurance! It works!!!
