@commanderjohnkoenig You can pay with gold, because gold is money. There will always be food somewhere to buy with gold. So there will be a black market if society collapses. And sellers know that gold will eventually be worth its intrinsic value. But yes, it is a good idea to have a decent storage of food too, and weapons.

Usually the things everyone including the media 'recognize' as a bubble are legit bull markets, the real bubbles are usually things everyone loves blindly. The next bubble will be bonds and the dollar NOT gold or silver, on the contrary.
