My opinion coming from a girl who has done this for 8 years:

If freestyle wasn't a style of dance why would there be an international organisation for it the ADFP(look it up on google). Also why would competitions be held for it all over the world if people thought it was not a style of dance and a waste of time.

Btw this girl is amazing beacuse not everyone gets to have a solo spot, only the championship dancers get them.

- maybe this type of dancing is the one where the opinion matters in a way...where what you think yourself defines if it's dancing or not....many other types of dancing are in that grey area of being dancing or something that could look like it. like crumping - some see it as people looking angry and stomping hard on the ground, but i see it as a way of expressing yourself, like other dances...it's our own opinion that counts
