@gagnonstudio It is okay, tends to have a lot of lens distortion. I have heard the longer lenses in the 200-300mm will have much less distortion, but the trade off is you will need a long room to shoot in if working indoors. I haven't tried it myself yet to see how well that method would work on flat things.

Um I have a picture on a canvas it doesn't look like its painted it looks like a picture that is on a canvas how do artists do that type of thing?

That is the same lens I have, also happens to be the cheapest that cannon makes. Still takes very sharp pictures, just a butt to manual focus compared to other 50mm lens.

@LostFoxeh Yup, only $100 for the lens. They aren't built the best because they break easily. This is my second one. But they take great pics. The 1.4 is the best quality 50mm lens, but I think its a little over $300.
