totally didn't expect the footage in the end. i thought i as just looking at botflies. I understand thats how you eat but still sad to see that big have to go through that many blows and pretty much cut open alive. wish there was a more ethical way to kill pigs with less pain. but that sentence itself is like an oxymoron.

the "idiots" you mention (those laughing during the intense slaughter scene) are members of an indigenous Guaymi community. They live in complete isolation from modern "civilization", 10.5 hours upriver from the nearest town. Most members have lived their entire lives in isolation in the jungle. The video is REAL, and gives you a window into the lives of people you don't even know exist - the pig was our gift to the community to thank them for their hospitality.
