This is the beautiful Pavane by Gabriel Fauré done just using analog sequencers. It uses three Analogue Solutions Oberkorn 3 and a Synthesizers.com Q960. There are also several sequential switches in use as well as the Moon Modular M563 Trigger Sequencer driving the Analogue Solutions drum modules.

  • Bizarre....

This is beautiful........a true piece of art.

Is this totally selfgenerating....by the sequencers,........or is there some midi2cv involved.

  • There is no Midi/CV, it just uses analog sequencers.

  • I can imagine the voltage flowing in the veins of the beast and making its analog heart beat. It's really beautiful that the true analogs are still so much appreciated. Making it just using sequencers must have taken you a lot of time. It's pure work of art!

  • There too few "musical" modular vids on youtube. Most folks just make complex noise.

Love how the tempo changes. You rule.

  • Thank you sooooo much.

  • you win at modular, hands down.. this must have taken AGESSSSSSS to program :O

  • I do own a Modular and a Step-Sequencer by myself but I really don't know how you did this piece with all it's melody and tempo changes just using the analog sequencers. Oh dear I have to learn al lot more ;). Really great work!

  • That's incredible. Amazing what you find tucked away in the corners of youtube.

  • Love it. More, more, more!

  • Simply amazing -must have taken ages to patch up!

  • jawdropper!!!

  • Thanks, a great pleasure to listen to. I'm a long time synth fan from the early days of Tomita, Synergy, W. Carlos, etc. Nice to hear others that are continuing the tradition.
