Best DC or Marvel Character - This battle consists of a portrait or entire action hero or foe from your favorite comic book . Dye, color, pencil and props can be used to enhance your style, cut and overall theme. If using dyes it must be done in advance, there will be no shampoo bowl or running water provided at the venue. Allotted time 1 hour.

Design Battle I-- The design battle is a freestyle battle, any type of shape, sign, parts, color/ pencil and dye is allowed in this battle. If using dye it must be done in advance, there will be no shampoo bowl or running water provided at the venue. Allotted time 1 hour

Design Battle 2-- The design battle is a freestyle battle, any type of shape, sign, parts, No color/ pencil or dye is allowed in this battle. Allotted time 45 minutes

Speed Battle II -- The speed battle is the fastest fade battle. The model has to get a skin fade and must have 1 inch of hair or more on top and at least a half-inch on the sides. The end result must be a skin fade with a 1 or 1 1⁄2 on top. Allotted time 10 minutes.

Female Barber Battle II - The female barber battle will consist of any style of haircut, no design, color or dye allowed. Allotted time 30 minutes.

Student Barber Battle II -- Must be registered in a school to compete. Must show proof of ID. Student barber battle will consist of any style of haircut, no design, color or dye allowed. Allotted time 30 minutes.

Old School II - Best old school cut, Flattop Gumby, Slope, Dwayne Wayne, Stacks. If using dye it must be done in advance, there will be no shampoo bowl or running water provided at the venue. time 45 minutes.
New York City Barber Battle II, I really hope to see all the barbers that can make it from all over, come out and represent yourself and the barber industry. It's events like this that make the rest of the world turn their heads in our direction as a reminder that we are true artist and professionals. Seven categories 10 seats per category, that's 70 barbers on display, entertaining you for one evening in New York but like last year from all over.
