Medal of Honor is an upcoming first-person shooter video game in the Medal of Honor series, developed by Danger Close, a new studio within EA Los Angeles, and DICE, due for release on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 October 12, 2010. The game will be a reboot of the series, taking place during the ongoing War in Afghanistan.

Medal of Honor - Coming October 12, 2010

Medal of Honor's single-player campaign will use a heavily modified version of Unreal Engine 3, and its multiplayer will use the Frostbite engine The game will use dedicated servers for PC, as can be found in the open beta, and is likely to use dedicated console servers.It is the first game in the Medal of Honor series to receive an M rating from the ESRB.

Medal of Honor, an all-new first-person shooter game, will introduce the Tier 1 Operator: a relatively unknown entity directly under the National Command Authority who takes on missions no one else can handle.

Due to pressure from U.S. military officials and veterans organizations, the word Taliban was removed from the multiplayer part of the game in which players would directly play as the Taliban, instead replaced with the term Opposing Force. The singleplayer campaign as well as overall gameplay will not be affected by the change.

Linkin Park's "New Divide" was featured in the 2010 E3 multiplayer trailer. Another song, entitled "The Catalyst," was featured in the final Medal of Honor trailer set released on August 1, 2010. The trailer featuring the song was directed by Linkin Park's own Joe Hahn. The song will also be included on the game's soundtrack due out October 12, 2010

I loved the campaign, but I felt terrible at the end. It was so true to life, but it really left me with the feeling that we've lost and it's all been for nothing. And not just the feeling, turn on the news and that's what the reality is. The Taliban will take over again after a few years, just watch. What a freakshow. The game's ending made me so uncomfortable and I don't know if I should praise it for being honest about what we already know is true.

@Snakebite142 Yeah :( But in the case of Iran, they really ARE up to no good. It's just about impossible to deny that at this point, the evidence against them is so overwhelming. Which makes it WORSE because we're going to be sending our guys against a bunch of nuclear armed Theocrats who think they have god on their side! This is a very tough time to be a soldier.

guys Neil Roberts is Rabbit in this game but his real code name is Fifi because of his curly hair and his face. on March1/2 2002, he and his team were going to some mountain in the Hindu Kush Mountain Ranges to set up an Outpost. But everything went wrong when the helicopter was hit by an RPG. Some oil spurted out onto the floor causing Roberts to fall out. He then fought with the taliban at Close range using his machine gun and his pistol and grenades. 30 minutes later he got killed.
