@Ramirezr16 I think it's just about the lies we tell ourselves to make it through the day. Most folks are deeply unhappy about their lot in life, but we focus on positive things, however illusory, to give us the strength to go on.

@Ramirezr16 I believe this song is about prescription drugs and how people who are not okay rely on them and how drugs like that do help you, but in the end they completely fuck you up and make you go mad or become very sick.
From the start of the video to 0:29 in, it changes from very dark and stressful sounding to very happy and everything is okay sounding. then at 1:00 it really changes to very stressful sounding again. symbolizing how drugs make you crazy and sick.
