  • When talking artillerty "caliber" usually describes both the diameter of the bore and the length of the gun barrel, in this case a 35/50mm cannon translates into a 35mm bore gun with a barrel length of 1750mm (35x50). However, in this case it actually means that you would be able to use 50mm Supershot ammunition in the gun system, just by switching to a 50mm barrel, since it shares the same breech and loading system as the 35mm ones. Thing is, I don't think they ever started make that ammunition

  • @ClamTrafficJam28 you can equip the CV90 series with TOW:s, it has been done for testing, but no army have deployed it on field-units because they don't consider AT duty as a part of the IFVs role.

If you have TOW, why not Stingers, and katyusha rockets? The answer is that specialized vehicles are often better then multi-taskers.

  • @soldat41ghr You are almost correct, You mean that it can be fitted with a 50MM gun, not a .50 cal gun. .50 cal translates to 12,7 mm.

  • @soldat41ghr i think that that 35mm gun can also fire 50mm rounds with a few changes, if im correct.

  • a 35 mm 50-caliber gun? Nope The Bushmaster mk 3 is a 35 mm gun not a .50 cal... But the best vehicle I have served in yet!

  • Canada's buying 138 of them what's the range of this I heard they were 600km and cam they tale more then 6 troops

  • @Araben13 just because they are fighting in the desert now doesn't mean they will be fighting there tomorrow.

  • I love just how awesome these sound

  • @nomorefooling they thought of that. and there all multiple forms of back ups

  • @bluewolf20 CV9035 has more fire power than a bradley? because i didn't think CV9035 had anti-tanks missiles
