  • we gave GM $49.5 BILLION in '08. In '10 GM publishes "The GM Bailout: Paid Back in Full," in the WSJ. This is what OWS detractors misleadingly claim is an example of TARP being paid back.

What it REALLY means is the Obama handed GM only $6.7 billion as a pure loan; the rest of the bailout money was transferred to GM through the purchase of 60.8 percent equity stake in the company.

When GM claims it paid back the bailout money in full, they mean ONLY the $6.7 billion loan amount.

    Cont'd...

  • @bibblemethis

you're an ignorant moron. A) my whole point was if the cops don't like policing the city they should get jobs in the burbs (which of course won't pay them half as well as NYC) & B) only brain dead twits who watch clusterfux "news" believe the idiotic spin that these fine folks don't know what they're protesting.

OWS has had a brilliantly written "Declaration of the Occupation of NYC" for WEEKS already at the nyc general assembly website. don't be a gullible sheep. look it up.

  • I have video footage of this too! Watch hippies get beat down on my channel!!!

  • @bibblemethis It's so stupid, they are a bunch of poor lazy bastards who don't even know what the hell they are protesting for. All I hear is: "I'M MAD BECAUSE I'M LAZY, INCOMPETENT, UNINTELLIGENT AND LACK ANY DEGREE OF AMBITION! SO NOW I'M GOING TO BLAME THE GOVERNMENT AND DEMAND THAT THEY GIVE ME THE MONEY OF HARDWORKING TAX PAYERS!"

  • @WikeddTung stop sucking on bush's cock

  • Police brutality? I didn't see any police brutality? What I saw was a violent protester who was disorderly and obstructing and needed to be arrested for breaking the law. That is what we pay taxes for.

  • So much for law and justice. But the guy handcuffing isn't doing nearly as wrong as the other police standing there supporting his actions instead of facing the injustice. I wouldn't want to stand and support a police system that has more than just this in terms of brutality over a social movement and activism. This...I have no words for the actions here.

  • @MyDoominateR I actually meant 'the' job. And thank you for you're pleasant reminder of my mistake. It will not happen again.

  • If you aren't in a city that's Occupying or otherwise want to find a way to get involved, you should participate in BUY NOTHING DAY. Buy Nothing Day!!!:: facebook[dot]com/event[dot]php?eid=190987167645456

  • Unjust Arrest =/= Police Brutality.

    Resisting arrest = Illegal.

I know that there has been Police Brutality ... but this is not an example of it.

But Fuck the Police (as an institution)

..just not the ones shown here.

  • @marxdesign

It's "their", you fucking moron. There is a completely different word.. Fucking neanderthal.

  • @WikeddTung Tea Party gained political influence on our politicians and we now have the entire House. A promise you, that a vast majority of those down there haven't read the "declaration" you speak of. The problem is how the rich get that way huh? How did steve jobs get rich? how did any politician get rich? how did bill gates get rich? You're such a pussy, stop asking for money from people and earn your own!!!!
