Personally, I like it because I am scoring more goals than ever this year. Plus, I can defend aggressively and earn more clean sheets. It's great!

It sucks u spend half of the game trying to get the fucking ball n when u pressure ur opponent he goes all the way back to his goal plus i play soccer in real life where u have to use tactical defending n this shit is not even realistic cuz u cant do all the things ur supposed to do with just controlling two players

Lol it is truely pure shit. FIFA developers think this is realistic? Lol. I was playing a match against Bolton. And Ngog did a messi like run from the midfield. It was a joke. I wish pes was actually a good football game, so I do not have to play this shit. However the attacking is fun :). I can see I am not the only one struggling since, I always embarrass my online opponent. Heck the computer are better than most of the opponent I meet online, and it should not be like that....of course I do

I hate tactical defending... everyone just holds down X(PS3) and its near impossible to skill past... ruins the game

I enjoy the tactical defending , even my defense begins when my opponent is in the my last 1/3 of pitch, but most games I play end with (0-2) goal difference, and that is very realistic. Most players don't even bother with the slide tackle which is overpowered when your player has a good tackling attribute and when u know when to use it. However, the offense is for the first time amazing and very fun, for me I enjoy offense more than defense maybe that is why i prefer it.

Fifa 12 is a double edge sword, at first its almost impossible.. until you realise how to utilise all of its tactical defending benefits.. the UP SIDE to all of this is that when you score a goal, you actually FEEL like you have scored a real fucking goal.. the game is so hard that you actually appreciate every single good play and every single goal scored.. i tried to go back to the old way of defending in the settings.. but i felt like i was cheating.. (it became very easy to score)

Tactical Defending is sucks for me. It's something new, and it's good. But I think we should have some choice (I don't talk about offline matchs but in online). I buy this game for online and I think then I screwed up. I played hundreds matches but I'm still sucks in Tactical Defending :/ In this type of game I want to attack, score and have fun and dont' take care about defending because it's boring. On fifa 12 I'm only make agressive and I want to destroy something.

I like it but I am pretty good at it. You have to be able read the play and switch players manually to put them in the right positions because if you can't do that you will struggle.

@vRxProDiiGy Gosh, so dam fu****** right, i use to pick santos and take over whatever team in fifa 11 but this shit ..... -_-' your opponent only needs to RAPE the A button and wait until he finds a spot to finess..... if fifa 13 is same im not buying this

Actually i like tactical defending. It's just new and it will surely improve next year. I used to bash opponents like madrid or barca with teams like lyon or marseille on legendary on fifa11, but now, with barca I get raped by teams like valencia or atletico.....

Well, it is, what it is. Tactical defending is a cool concept, i just think they shouldnt have put it in this years game, they should have waited until fifa13, Player impact engine was enough to advertise with....sucks also, sometimes.
